Friesian Insight Day - SPRING

Join us for this unique, informal and relaxed experience where you can discover more about the lives of our horses.

Designed especially for those curious about understanding how we educate our horses, this day is dedicated to unraveling the secrets of the personalised care program we have for each horse. 

As we head into Spring and the days lengthen, we'll discuss how we allow our horses to lose a level of fitness during the winter months and why, as horse owners we should not worry about this.  We'll look at how we resume their activities and talk about why occasional breaks are acceptable.   You can learn about the potential challenges  when exercises are reintroduced and how we deal with this.

You'll get to see exercises we do to address the individual physical and personality challenges of our horses including  pre- training exercises, basic groundwork sessions, and ridden work where you'll see how communication and understanding of the horses is a key factor. 

Our approach is not geared towards competitive training or performance; instead, we strive to keep our horses healthy, happy, and comfortable.  

This is a laid-back, informal affair, encouraging visitors to feel at ease and ask questions freely.  From the ground sessions to glimpses of our ridden work, learn how every interaction is a step towards building a deeper connection and understanding of these wonderful horses who ask so little of us.
