Anja (Ait 410) Stb MODEL
DOB: 30th May 2008
Anja captivated us when she was just a foal at the 2008 friesian inspections. Sadly due to family circumstances her breeder needed to find her a new home. We were delighted to take her on but didn't think she would stay with us forever. Anja has made sure that she now has a home for life with us. She's been one of the most interesting friesians I have trained so far. She is an absolute powerhouse and an absolute joy to ride. She's given us a beautiful filly, Ciska who became Champion Foal in 2016 when Anja also became Breed Champion for the second time. Anja continued her training in 2017 with her main aim to try and achieve the ultimate title of Model and at the inspections in 2018 she achieved this incredible award making her only the second Friesian in the country to gain this, alongside Femma. She has been UK Breed Champion three times and now enjoys taking part in our experience days when visitors are wanting to give carriage driving a try. She is now as bomb proof as they come and extremely tolerant with beginner drivers. She is also extremely popular for photoshoots and recently appeared in Harpers Bazaar magazine with American model McKenna Hellam.
Adopt or Sponsor one of our Friesian horses. We do everything we can to ensure our horses have the best care until the end of their days. With your help we can continue to do so for many years to come.
It costs over £140/day to keep our friesians, with bills not only for feed, bedding, haylage, farrier and vets but many others too in order to keep their facilities and equipment in good working order. By adopting or sponsoring one of our horses you are helping us to keep the horses in the best of condition and allowing us to keep opening our doors to people from all walks of life who want to be captivated by the friesian magic. Your donation will go towards the cost to care for all our friesians.
