We have prescriptions for Bute. 

1 Box lasts each horse 14 days

4 horses =  ~24 boxes per year 

Bute is an essential part of the diet to keep some of the horses comfortable. We have used more natural alternatives in the past and still do. However, over the years, we have found Bute to be the most reliable for those in need of support.

Hoitze has it daily as its anti-inflammatory properties help with his arthritis. 

Sjoukje takes it for comfort with the fracture to the extensor process in her front right foot.

Nero has been on Bute whilst he recovers from hock fusion in 2024  (hopefully his healing will be complete as hoped for in February 2025, twelve months since surgery).

Anja is a diagnosed 'Wobbler', and has uBte daily to help with any inflammation around her spine.
