Friesian Friendship Day Spring 2026

Our Friesian Friendship Day is designed to provide a casual, relaxed opportunity to commune with and get to know the horses at our Sanctuary while enjoying the natural and historic beauty of their Lake District Grade II-listed home, Greenbank Farm.

All of our residents plan to be up on the yard, either free-reining or in one of our turnout areas. They'll love (and in many cases expect--right, Annie?) any and all cuddles, kisses, grooming--whatever attention you wish to share. In addition to chatting to the horses and people, you'll be able to see the outside of the latest renovation work being undertaken on the old barns and rebuilt shippon, and get a peak at the old bull pen we hope to renovate in future. Wander the smooth trackways of the upper Farm at your leisure. Amble down the lane and explore the areas of the lower Farm--the Girls' new Palace…
