The Next Step Campaign--Nearly There

April 2026

The 2026 "Next Step" Campaign is our most ambitious to date, positively impacting a third of the 70 acres compromising Greenbank Farm. This critical project is creatinge tremendous benefits for the Friesians in sanctuary--encouraging natural fitness, allowing better management of their health and weight, and, by improving groundwater drainage, increasing year-'round grazing space..

It's only through the generosity of our compassionate Friesian-loving community that we ae able to provide this level of care that our sanctuary residents so richly deserve. Nero Requires Emergency Surgery

October 10, 2026

Our favorite rock climber, Rainbow Boy Nero, took a tumble and seriously injured his leg, requiring surgery up at Edinburgh where he is still in-patient. See the link for more details, including a video update from Tracey, or to contribute to defraying the cost of his care.

A Magical Fairy Tale for Children of All Ages

In celebration of the 30th birthday of our eldest, much-loved Sanctuary resident, Prince, one of his most ardent supporters, author Linda Renn, has penned a beautiful book inspired by Prince and his pals, with all sale proceeds going to benefit the horses at Greenbank Farm.

Beautifully illustrated and featuring coloring pages in the back, it's an inspiring tale designed to inspire the artist in all of us. The perfect unique birthday or holiday gift for that special pony-loving soul in your life--or purchase one for your local library!
