Nero Emergency Surgery Fund

For those of you who prefer to donate directly to the Sanctuary rather than through the GoFundMe campaign, you can do so here.

On October 10, Nero was found to have seriously injured his right knee joint which ultimately required surgery and an extended stay at the hospital in Edinburgh. He came through surgery well, and after initial infection concerns due to a high white blood cell count, has stabilized the past few days. The surgical site is looking good, and we're heartened to hear Rainboy Boy has been a model patient. We're hopeful he stays on a good path and can home soon to complete his recuperation.

The initial estimate for the cost of his care at Edinburgh was £5-7K, in addition to the emergency visit by our regular vet (Frame & Swift) that preceded the trip to Edinburgh.
