About the event
While the Sanctuary isn’t generally open to public visits, we do offer occasions for any animal- or horse-lovers to visit our historic Farm and spend time with the gorgeous Friesians. This is your opportunity!
Our new Friesian Friendship Days provide a low-key, relaxed opportunity to spend nearly one-on-one time with the Friesians, our mini-Shetland, Mr. JB and little grey pony, Prince. Whether new to horses or a seasoned admirer, our horses are very human friendly, well-handled, and will love your company—and our team and volunteers will work to ensure your comfort. Whether you’d like to groom the horses, love on them with scratches and cuddles, or just admire at a distance, they’ll love and benefit from your attention and presence and will no doubt show their appreciation with mutual affection!
This event runs 10am-4pm, and enrollment is limited to 20 people. You’re welcome to come and go throughout the day.…
