Lynn offers a perfect example of the variety of ways a volunteer can contribute to the mission of TFE. Though she lives a five-minute drive from the Farm, Lynn travels a great deal. When she's home and can spend time with us, she takes on jobs of direct benefit to the Team's wellbing. Whether making coffee for their all-important work breaks, or launching into the less glamorous cleaning jobs, Lynn knows that the wellbeing of the humans is critical to that of the horses. She's known to pick up a cake at the local cafe on the way to the Farm, and on Open Days, she and Bailey dance their way around the yard as visitors are leaving, wearing their Friesian Smiles and rattling change buckets to encourage any final loose-change contributions. She's even been Mr. JB's minder when "Santa Tracey" and her elves ride the Friesians to the local primary school to thrill  the children at Christmas time.

For all those days Lynn is away, the Team still feels her emotional support through Likes and Comments on TFE's YouTube channel and social media pages which always create an emotional boost.

Lynn views time spent at TFE as human sanctuary as much as Friesian sanctuary, a place to leave the world behind for a brief time and just be in the moment. The entire TFE Team appreciates all that Lynn contributes, whether from near or far!
