Several of our mares are uncharacteristicaly having laminitis, we suspect due to a warm, dry Spring creating very sweet early grass. Rather than having to limit them to being on dry lot up on the yard, we've decided to try grazing muzzles again. This allows them fresh grass (though limited) and the comfort of being out with the herd.

We tried this new design with Renske. She's tolerated it well and it's still in one piece--and unlike other muzzle designs, it doesn't rub on their skin. We now have two but could greatly benefit from another one or two.
