Love horses? Miss that touch of a velvety nose, that distinct smell of a horse, the mesmerising sound of them munching hay and that deeply satisfying calming effect they give when you lay your hands on them or better still, give them a hug. Welcome to the Friesian Friendship Barn, a specially designed space where you can spend one and a half hours of one-on-one time with one of our Friesian horses or Mr. JB, our miniature Shetland pony. Your equine companion can relax under their infrared solarium whilst tucking into our homegrown haylage. You can join them for Friesian cuddles or a grooming session, or sit back and relax in their company on a comfy sofa from behind our beautifully handcrafted partition. From here you can soak up the soft, therapeutic infrared lighting whilst you switch off and forget about the world outside. Complementary refreshments and your choice of music all go towards helping you and your Friesian Friend enjoy your special time together. This is a truly magical environment and in our mind the best therapy for both our horses and visitors alike. For your first visit, we allow one and a half hours so we can explain how everything works in the Barn. After your first session, you will receive a 15% discount code to use for all future bookings. The sessions are ideally suited to individuals for the best one-to-one experience. However, you can be joined by up to two more people. This works well for those who require assistance or are visiting us with children.
