FRIESIAN YARD EXPERIENCE

Calling all horse lovers of any age, no experience necessary! Have you ever wanted to spend time on a professional horse yard, getting the chance to learn and work side-by-side with welcoming, knowledgeable people who provide best care for the horses and will teach you the ropes, answer every question, and let you have a go helping with our daily care routine? Or maybe you'd prefer to simply spend time with the horses, get to know more about their personalities, groom and share cuddles with them, or watch them being exercised in our outdoor arena. You can be as hands on as you want to be. Either way, you can be assured you will be made to feel at home! Our three-hour Yard Experience provides just that and has proved a very popular option. Offered year 'round throughout on weekdays, Monday is the day Tracey schools most of the horses so those who will find that of interest may wish to choose that day. However, the horses are worked throughout the week, so please feel free to ask what might be happening on a particular day. We're happy to share that information with you once we get close enough to your date to know! For a small additional charge, we offer the opportunity for a visitor to have a sit on one of the Friesians (after they have worked) for some photos and video (maximum weight: 13 stone). What we call 'The Friesian Smile' is nearly a guaranteed result! This is not an individual experience so you may be part of a small group on your chosen day. If you'd like to end your Yard Experience with some one-to-one time with one of our Friesians in the Friendship Barn, you can add it on as an extra when booking. What better way to finish your time with us on the yard than by sitting and relaxing with a complimentary coffee or tea in the relaxing, theraputic environment of our Friendship Barn with your chosen Friesian friend.
