Alongside a staple diet of forage and grass, we also like to supplement our horses diet with some hard feed to ensure that they get everything they need for optimum wellbeing.
 
Regardless of workload, all the horses receive Top Spec balancer as it contains all the essential vitamins and minerals.   It also allows us to mix in any additional supplements they might need.  We mix the feeds with chaff which can be chopped straw (low calories) or Alfalfa (higher calories) and feed according to the condition and workload of each horse.
